This is a hands-on class using the FamilySearch.org website, a must-have in your 'genealogy toolkit'. This is the largest FREE genealogy organization in the world. Learn how to use the databases, filter information for a family search, develop your own family tree and search other trees, use support information and learn new techniques. Microfilms are no longer ordered as plans are to digitize records on line or to be made available at a family history centre. Prerequisite: Intro to Computers Level II and WWW experience or equivalent. Bring along a memory stick to download information.
